Posted: Saturday, June 21, 2008

  1. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible pool member who is 16 or older and is with them at all times!
  2. Open 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
  3. No running, diving, dunking or excessive splashing.
  4. No foul or loud language.
  5. No tobacco use.
  6. Only pets for the disable are allowed.
  7. No electrical devices.
  8. Single person floating device only.
  9. No open sores or contagious disease.
  10. No cut off shorts.
  11. Swim diapers required on all children not toilet trained. Accidents require an emergency shut down of the pool.
  12. No alcohol, gum or glass.
Food spreads bacteria, which is harmful to the pool chemical balance and also attracts pests, insects and animals to the pool area.
  13. Please use only the designated area for eating. Please be responsible for cleaning up.
  14. No swimming alone.
  15. One guest per member-maximum 5 per family.
  16. Keep member ID (pool card) visible.
  17. Cards shared with non-members will be revoked.
  18. No swimming if lightning or thunder are present.
  19. If a pool attendant has to call one of the 'emergency contacts' to deal with an issue that they've tried to handle on their own, the party at fault (and their entire family) will lose pool privileges for 7 days. If it happens again, the pool privileges will be revoked for 30 days, no exceptions.
  20. If anyone is in the pool before or after posted hours, the police will be called. They will take your name and address and your entire family will lose pool privileges for 14 days. If it happens again, your pool privileges will be revoked for the entire pool season, no exceptions.

  Emergency Pool Shut Down Procedures

Human Feces or Vomit require immediate shut down of the pool!

  1. Get everyone out of the pool.
  2. Clean up as much as possible.
  3. Contact Professor Pool, Steve McCoy
  4. Contact Matt Batliner at (816) 525-3854.

The pool will then remain closed for approximately 3 hours after Steve McCoy arrives for cleaning, shocking and chemically charging the pool.
