Fun
to the Max! Posted:
Sunday, October 26, 2008 The
Monarch View Fall Fun Fest on Sunday, October
19th was a great success. Just ask the
approximately 300 kids, parents, and neighbors
who attended! The event began with a Fishing
Derby. Teams lined the ponds convinced
they had just the right spot. Bob Smith,
our winning angler, caught the most fish
(2) and the longest fish (22”). Skylar
Brennan caught the smallest fish (14”)
– just the right size for a 4 year old.
Movie
Night — What a Great Idea! Posted:
Monday, July 21, 2008
Saturday
night, July 12th, was a perfect
night for our first ever
Movie Night. An inflatable
screen was purchased, equipment
was rented, the word was
out, soda and water were
chillin’, and the popcorn
popper was in place.

chips, and best of all, cookies was served
first. This was just to help build the anticipation.
The playground was swarming with kids as they
eyed the eggs on the ground. One anxious toddler
asked, “Now?” “Not yet, sweetie”, was the unfortunate
reply.
Fall
Fun Fest 2007 Sunday, October 21st, was warm
and windy for the start of our annual Fall Fun
Fest. The fishing derby was first with lots of
serious anglers determined to catch the longest
fish, or settle for the shortest fish, or the
most fish. Teams lined the ponds seeking just
the right spot. By the way, the longest fish
was 26"!
