Architectural Review Board
Posted: Tuesday, June 15, 2010
An excerpt from the Declaration of Restrictions, Article VII:
No building, fence, wall, foundation or any structure, or swimming pool
shall be commenced, erected or maintained upon the properties, nor shall
any exterior addition, patio, deck, or color change or alteration be made
until the plans are submitted and approved by the Review Board.
We all want to beautify our homes & yards. The requirement for a review
board is in place to to establish and preserve a harmonious design for a
community and to protect the value of the property.
We have had several complaints about work that is currently in progress that has not been
approved by the review board. If these items are not approved and do not
meet the rules and restrictions of the POA, legal action can be taken to
have the homeowner remove, repaint or redo the work that has already taken place.
Please save yourself time, trouble and money and submit your plans
to the board, in writing, for review and approval prior to beginning work.
