Bee MovieMovie Night — What a Great Idea!
Posted: Monday, July 21, 2008
Saturday night, July 12th, was a perfect night for our first ever Movie Night. An inflatable screen was purchased, equipment was rented, the word was out, soda and water were chillin’, and the popcorn popper was in place.

Jeremy Flowers, our Activities Director, planned the movie night for a close-to-home family event. Becky Flowers turned out a perfect batch of popcorn the first time. Once the smell of fresh popcorn was in the air the kids gathered round. This wasn’t microwave popcorn, this was movie popcorn!

The Bee Movie was the feature with a good sized audience of all ages. It was a cool night so jammies and sweats were in order. Once it was dark, about 9:15, the movie started. Everyone settled in their favorite lawn chair, stroller, or blanket and just enjoyed the show.

Thanks to Todd Sattman for set up help and Beth Coleman for popcorn assistance.

If you would enjoyed this event, or missed it (!), and would like to have the Activities Director plan more Movie Nights, please through the web site.
