Trash Service – Just a Reminder

Last year we set up a neighborhood-wide trash pick up service with Summit Disposal and negotiated a group rate saving us all some money. On January 1, 2008 Summit Disposal merged with Town & Country Disposal.

Our trash service will continue to be Town & Country Disposal at a group rate (normal charge for individual homes is $50.25 per 3 months). Everyone just received a price increase of $6.00 per quarter. This increase was due to fuel increases and was not a change in our group rate.

Levels of Service for Monarch View

• $30.75 – trash and yard waste
• $33.75 – trash, yard, and a polycart trash barrel
• $36.75 – trash, yard, polycart, and blue recycle bin

The polycart trash barrel and blue recycle bin are just rented as part of that level of service.

Our trash pick up day is Monday.

Note: We will have trash service on Monday, September 1st – Labor Day.

Town & Country asks that we have our trash, yard waste, and recycling at the curb by 6:30 am. However, trash should not be set out sooner than the evening before regular trash pick up.
