Pool Shade Posted: Tuesday,May 1, 2012 Based on homeowner feedback, the Board is looking into installing a cantilevered shade on the southeast side of the pool. The posts would be mounted along the fence line and the shade would cast over a portion of the pool deck and kiddie pool. Ignore the color, we would more than likely go with something that would match the pool house. Something in the tan color palette. We'd like to hear your feedback.

Easter Egg Hunt 2012 Posted: Tuesday,April 24, 2012 On Saturday, March 31st several volunteers hid hundreds of eggs around the park and pool area. The weather was absolutely beautiful, a little warm, but beautiful. The park was divided into two different age groups. The first group, 0-4 year olds went first. As they picked up an egg, another one fell out of their basket. The second group, the 5-8 year olds, waited patiently for their turn to go. They scrambled quickly around the playground area. Finally, the 9-13 year olds had a different plan. They really didn't care how many eggs they collected, they were focused on finding the golden egg. After all of the prizes were redeemed, the treat finally arrived. Kids and parents were treated to shaved ice, which was perfect for the hot, sunny day.
A special thanks to Anna Stucker, Denise Kilgore, and Debbie Davis for filling eggs. Also, to Bryan and Jackson Truman and Robin Campbell for hiding the eggs. I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you!!.
Snakes Alive! Posted: Monday,April 16, 2012
No fishing pole needed for this slithery and creepy monarch view fisherman - all that was needed to catch this perch was a little venom.
The signs around the ponds have an entire new meaning. "Don't Throw Rocks" as now you never know what will be underneath. According to the experts the snakes are out and about early this year thanks to the above-average temperatures we're experiencing.
We know that our Pool man has chased them out of the pool already this year and we have been told of snakes in some homes this year. The main area they have been seen is around the ponds. People have seen them sun bathing on the rocks and just hanging around the spillways and the tunnels.
So parents warn your kids as we know the spillways, creek, tunnels and throwing rocks is a fun activity for the kids. We just want to keep everyone as safe as possible.
