Trash
Barrels — Necessary, But Please Store Them
Out of Sight! Posted:
Friday, July 11, 2008
Many trash barrels have either
been put out too soon before
trash pickup or
have been left outside looooooonnnngggg
after trash pickup. Trash barrels
that have been left out are generating
more calls to the board than
any
other Covenant infraction! According
to our Protective
Covenants (#13) "There
shall be no outside trash barrels..."
Please, as a courtesy to all of our neighbors,
only put trash barrels out
the night before pickup and bring them back
in as soon as possible after
pickup on Monday. Help keep the neighborhood
good looking!

Mud! Posted: Friday,
April 10, 2009
Anyone who has walked around the south pond has noticed the mud building up at
the bridge. This has been an issue for quite some time. We are looking into options
on what to do to not only remove the silt but keep it from entering the pond.
We have received bids to remove the silt. Based on the amount of silt that needs
to be removed an excavator will be needed and work can only be done during the
dry season. The majority of the cost is in repairing the damage the equipment
will cause to the grass, concrete, sprinkler system, etc. The cost is significant
and there are also budget considerations with a project of this magnitude.
Our path forward is still unclear. If anyone has any additional ideas on how
to deal with this issue the board welcomes any suggestions you may have.

Vandalism
at the pool part 2 Posted: Sunday,
June 28, 2009 On the night of 6/22/09 the pool was littered with
toilet paper. Two of the skimmers were loaded with
it and restricted the water flow. Paper also made
its way through the system into the strainer to
the pump motor. Water was moving through, but just
barely, which caused the motor to overheat and
there is now a slight leak on one of the pumps.
I know people are unaware of possible consequences,
but this could have been costly. So again we ask
you if you see anyone at the pool after 9:00 pm
please either ask them to leave or call the police
and report them for trespassing.

Vandalism
at The Pool House Posted: Wednesday,
May 06, 2009 Last year it was graffiti, this year someone filled
the toilet with toilet paper and set it on fire.
Luckily the fire did not spread to the walls or ceiling.
This could have been much worse. If anyone notices
anything going on at the pool after hours please
notify the police.
